1935 – born Godalming, Surrey
1946 - father Owen Strong dies of cancer
1951 - mother Ruby Strong (nee Boughton) commits suicide - Caeria and her older twin sisters live with various family members
1950s – attends Wimbledon School of Art to study Theatre Design, switching to painting
1950s – enrols at St. Martin’s College of Art to study painting, gains a scholarship to study in France
1950s – meets Henry Israel, attends Royal College of Art
1960 – painting scholarship to France
1961 - graduates from the Royal College
1962 – moves to Cornwall with Henry, buys Newhall Mill to raise a family, living self-sufficiently. Painting practice curtailed by family and smallholding but continues to draw, also learning skills such as cheese and bread-making. Returns to painting full time in 1980s.
1988 – moves to Tintagel
1988 – 2020 concentrates on painting and drawing; exhibits widely in Cornwall, also in London and Germany. Also teaches small groups in 1990s.
