2010s

With declining health, both physical and mental, Caeria managed to continue painting. Despite, or perhaps because of, those issues she appears to have felt greater freedom by this time to experiment with some conceptual work which previously she would have felt too inhibited by her training to try. A number of strokes and TIAs left her with a type of dementia where she developed delusions, which in her last paintings she attempted to visualise. 

After her husband Henry died in 2017, she found she could not continue to paint.
